Sony Pictures has unveiled the first official trailer for the new crime comedy thriller called Caught Stealing, set in New York City in the 1990s. This is the 9th feature film directed by NYC-based filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, and it's one of his first all-out comedies. Set to arrive in theaters at the end of August in just a few months. Burned-out ex-baseball player Hank Thompson unexpectedly finds himself embroiled in a dangerous struggle for survival amidst the criminal underbelly of 1990s New York City, forced to navigate a treacherous underworld he never imagined. When his punk-rock neighbor Russ asks him to take care of his cat for a few days, Hank suddenly finds himself caught in the middle of a motley crew of threatening gangsters. They all want a piece of him; but he has no idea why.
