Disney+ has revealed a quick first look teaser trailer for The War Between The Land And The Sea, an epic new "Whoniverse" spin-off series about sea creatures. Teased at the end of the recent season of "Doctor Who", this fascinating sci-fi series is about the emergence of an underwater race of humanoids called Sea Devils - including one in particular. "When a fearsome and ancient species emerges from the ocean, dramatically revealing themselves to humanity, an international crisis is triggered. With the entire population at risk, UNIT step into action as the land and sea wage war." The story involves "UNIT" in the Whoniverse, though there's some kind of big romance going on as well. "Only the tides could have kept them apart." Starring Russell Tovey as Barclay and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Salt, along with Jemma Redgrave, Alexander Devrient, Ruth Madeley, Colin McFarlane, Adrian Lukis, Patrick Baladi, and Vincent Franklin. Very impressive make-up with these fish people, but the rest looks like it'll be melodramatic stretching out the romance and conversations.
