“These accusations in general is stemming from a group trip our whole friend group went on. Right? Our whole friend group went on this trip. And everyone on this trip can confirm there was nothing weird going on. I wasn’t even staying near them. It was for someone’s birthday. Let’s start there.” She also added, “Me and Daryl’s relationship…started off as business. Obviously, if you know, you know. Like, he put me onto YouTube. Started off there, grew into a friendship, has always remained platonic.”
Lala Explains Why Halle Likely Named Her In 2024 Texts
The rumors of a sexual relationship between Lala Baptiste and DDG came to light in March 2024, texts allegedly from Halle to DDG. The singer suggested she had proof that her ex-boyfriend slept with Lala during said trip. Her allegation reportedly added more fuel to the fire brewing between the co-parents.
Lala didn’t seem to come for Halle in her reaction video. Instead, she empathized with ‘The Little Mermaid’ star and even explained how confusion might’ve happened. She also claimed to have a private convo with Bailey about the misunderstanding, but refused to expose the details of what was said.
