Just weeks after dropping their first collab in years, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne surprised fans by linking up on Instagram Live together. However, this wasn’t a situation where two people were on a stream from their respective phones. Nicki and Wayne actually linked up in person while interacting with the Barbz in the comments section. The ‘Miami’ rapper has been very active on social media this week, with her link-up with Weezy coming on the heels of her inviting Kai Cenat’s sister out to Prague. Here’s what happened…
Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne Link-Up For Surprise Stream Session
On Friday, June 20, Nicki Minaj lit up Instagram Live for a quick 10-minute sesh. But the real gag was Lil Wayne chilling in the background! “Young Money in the building!” Nicki said. The two were serving laughs, with Nicki playfully dragging Wayne when she quizzed him on some lyrics she assumed he wouldn’t remember writing. Further on, Wayne, seemingly still adjusting to the world of technology, asked Nicki, “So they’re leaving comments right now?”
But the real kii? Wayne had Nicki shook when he asked if she knew who coined “Barbz.” Nicki, looking confused, hit him with, “Who started the Barbz, Wayne?” while someone off-camera cackled. The duo kept it cute, with Nicki calling Wayne “The GOAT” and praising him for always coming through. This link-up had the Barbz reminiscing on the good ol’ days, though Drake’s absence didn’t go unnoticed.

Nicki Invites Kai Cenat’s Sister To Prague
Right before Nicki hopped on IG Live with Wayne, she had a sweet streaming session with Kai Cenat’s lil’ sis, Kaiya Cenat. Nicki did her big one during their chat going as far as offering Kaiya a lil’ getaway trip.
Nicki’s headed to Prague and said she wants Kaiya Cenat to pull up to. Since linking up with Kai after their stream in late 2023, Nicki appears to have stayed in contact with the family. She even wanted Mama Cenat to join, but Kaiya spilled that their mom was already on her way to Africa to celebrate her birthday.
Nicki, while initially bummed, told Kaiya to bring five friends instead and promised to fly her out in style on a private jet. The Queen of Rap made sure Kaiya was going to touch down in Europe the right way. Kaiya’s reaction was met with pure shock and excitement! See the clip below:
