Tia Kemp is NOT here for Halle Bailey getting the courts all up in her business with DDG. The Aunt-Tea podcast host, who recently linked up with DDG for a Twitch livestream, got wind of Halle’s restraining order drama from her nieces and nephews. And Tia’s got some thoughts. Tia was throwing some shade, y’all, hinting she ain’t feeling what’s “going on under the f*****g sea.” Here’s what happened…
Tia wasn’t holding back when she hopped on Instagram Live on Wednesday, May 14, to spill her thoughts on the matter. While lounging in bed and rocking her pajamas, Tia got real about the news that DDG is legally barred from seeing his son or being near his ex. Apparently, her family filled her in on the tea, and she was not happy.
Reflecting on her own past, Tia alleges she’s had her share of physical altercations with her ex, Rick Ross, too. But preventing him from seeing his son, that’s a hard pass for her. “We ain’t no f*cking saints,” Tia confessed, recalling a wild moment when she kicked Ricky Rozay in the stomach and ran… only for him to allegedly catch her and hit her back. But when it comes to Halle and DDG’s drama, Tia’s stance is pretty clear: keep the law out of it!
Tia’s got her own rulebook for handling co-parenting chaos, and she’s not signing off on restraining orders. According to her, if a person and their significant other are beefing over their child, take it to family court instead. Tia explained she never considered putting a restraining order on Rick Ross, even during their messiest moments. She knows that locking him up, if he were to violate a court order hypothetically, would mean he couldn’t provide for their child anymore.
“I ain’t put a restraining order on my baby daddy,” Tia declared. “B*tch, I don’t want you in jail because you can’t do for sh*t for us in there. I’ma beat your ass, and you bet not call no police. You whoop my ass, I ain’t calling them b*tches either.”
She’s all about handling things the old-school way, but still making sure the child is taken care of. Tia even threw in some extra shade, saying she’s not here for the drama “going on under the f*cking sea,” clearly taking a jab at Halle’s role in Little Mermaid.
According to court documents, Halle Bailey accused DDG of some serious misconduct, which led to her filing the court documents. She claimed DDG engaged in behavior that made her fear for her safety and their child’s well-being as recently as May 10.
Specific allegations include verbal harassment and threats, with Halle stating DDG’s actions crossed lines that made her feel unsafe. Additionally, she referenced several alleged physical altercations that took place between her and DDG at her home this year over disputes concerning Halo. Additionally, she alleged that DDG has barely contributed financially to their son’s expenses.
