Roomies, Snoop Dogg has shared whether he’s “surprised” about what’s going on with Diddy amid the 55-year-old’s ongoing trial.
On Thursday, May 29, Snoop Dogg appeared as a guest on ‘TSR Live.’ During his appearance, the 53-year-old was asked whether he is “surprised” about what’s currently happening with Diddy.
“Very surprised,” he began. “Ultimately surprised — I’m like — I don’t be expecting none of this type of thing to be happening, you know? Like I say, when I was given my position of power and given my position of leadership, I like to take advantage of it and treat people good, and make sure that people that work with me don’t feel like they work for me. When they’re ready to leave… if we have a separation, it’s ending on love. It’s never bad vibes or anything of that nature.”
Ultimately, Snoop explained that he “tries to be a better boss” than the bosses he “was around” since they usually viewed him as just an artist or just an employee. Furthermore, he explained that he uses the good examples they set while forgoing the bad examples.

Social media users stepped into The Shade Room’s comment section with reactions to Snoop Dogg’s response.
Instagram user @niccilove_ wrote, “Snoop is a good dude, in spite of his political views. My grandson was a part of his football camp for children with disabilities. He spent time with those children, he loved on them, and he stayed beyond the time alloted. He was totally engaged. I have nothing but respect for Snoop. We all got our stuff but I’ve witnessed first hand him take his time with every child he came in contact with. So salute Uncle Snoop. 🫡”
Last week, amid Snoop Dogg weighing in, Suge Knight shared advice for Diddy amid his trial. As The Shade Room previously reported, Knight spoke exclusively with CNN for a brief phone interview. To note, Knight connected with the outlet while serving a 28-year prison sentence for a fatal hit-and-run.
“I feel if he do tell his truth, he really would walk. If Puffy goes up there and says, ‘Hey … I did all the drugs, I wasn’t in control of my life at the time, or myself’ – he can humanize his old self and the jury might give him a shot,” Knight said.
Additionally, he explained why he feels Diddy not taking the stand could hurt his chances at a non-guilty verdict.
