Skai Jackson Gets a Restraining Order Against Deondre After Mother’s Day Altercation
Skai is not playing when it comes to the safety of her child. According to court docs obtained by USA Today, she filed for a restraining order against Deondre after an explosive Mother’s Day incident. Skai claims he got physical with her by banging her head against the backseat of her car.
The actress proceeded, alleging how he then punched her in the face while she held their son, Kasai, in her arms. Skai alleges Deondre’s been abusive since 2024, per MSN, with a six-month pattern that included choking, destroying her stuff, and even holding her at knifepoint while pregnant. She says he threatened to stab her if she called the cops and told her to drink bleach.
Skai wrote in her court docs, “I don’t feel safe with my son being around him due to his violent history.” The judge wasted no time responding to her request, granting the restraining order and ordering Deondre to stay 100 yards away from Skai and baby Kasai.
