Gina Huynh is speaking out after receiving backlash for recently posting a “FreeDiddy” message online.
On Monday, August 4, Huynh took to Threads to share a brief but impactful message with her more than 32,000 followers.
“FreeDiddy 🖤” she wrote.
Subsequently, her post racked up 47 comments with noticeable backlash. To note, Threads user @always_cloud_dee wrote, “is there anything you won’t do for money??
“You sheeps 🐑 act like I can’t forgive a man I once loved… I’m not gonna kick him while he’s down cause yall want me to. B***H I DONT EVEN KNOW YOU… TF lol 😂 goofies… ima always have his back. 💕” Hunyh then added in a subsequent post.
Gina Huynh has since returned to Threads to double down on her remarks about Diddy, stating that she’s “too high vibrational for this” and even urging the public to “go meditate, touch grass, & hug trees.” Before hopping off the platform early on Wednesday, August 6, she even dropped a few City Girl lyrics. Nonetheless, social media users have reacted to her statements in The Shade Room’s comment section.
While Instagram user @lethalrosas added, “Girl he kicked you while you were down, literally. I really hope the blinders come off one day.”
Instagram user @howtoloveabatteredwoman wrote, “It’s so much more than ‘being a follower’. It’s the fact that this man abused you and other women horrendously. You were supposed to testify against him and didn’t. And now want him to be free. While laughing in the faces of his other victims. That’s what the problem is.”
As The Shade Room previously reported, Gina Huynh reportedly dated Diddy between 2014 and 2019. In 2019, she sat down for a two-part interview where she detailed the emotional and physical abuse she allegedly experienced during their romance. Hunyh even alleged she was pregnant with their child before Diddy stomped on her stomach, forcing her to miscarry.
Hunyh was expected to testify as Victim-3 in Diddy’s recent trial for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. However, she was a no-show and recently confirmed her absence from the trial while advocating for Diddy to be released on bail after being found guilty on prostitution charges.
