Renee Rapp didn’t hold back when she dropped her very unfiltered thoughts on Tory Lanez’s recent prison stabbing while riding for her girl Megan Thee Stallion. Renee’s bold comments are sparking all kinds of reactions. As you know, Megan had previously accused Tory of shooting her back in 2020, leading to his 10-year sentence after a guilty verdict. Now, with Tory fighting for an appeal and surviving a prison attack, Renee’s got some choice words that are lighting up social media.
Renee came with all the smoke during her June 12 interview with Ziwe. The comedian and host is always one to get the tea flowing from her guests. And on the most recent episode, she brought up a past comment where Renee swore she’d go to war for Meg Thee Stallion over “that sorry a** man” Tory Lanez. The ‘Tummy Hurts’ pop star, nodding as if she recalled the remark, had an interesting response as Ziwe questioned her about Lanez’s recent prison attack.
“I feel like a lot of people get stabbed and, like, that’s okay. Maybe we should be doing it more? Maybe we should be stabbing more,” Renee said with a straight face, adding, “Shiv in the pocket.”
Then, Ziwe brought up Drake, who’s been supporting Tory by recently reposting a petition to pardon him after the attack. Renee wasn’t having that either, though. “That’s so tired. I love Kendrick Lamar,” she clapped back with a shrug. The shade was real in this interview, but Rapp stands by her words.
Social media had a lot to say, with some fans cackling at her audacity while others side-eyed the boldness. Peep the comments below…

If you thought Renee was new to defending Megan, think again, y’all. She’s been Team Megan for a minute. The duo’s friendship has been developing following their collab on the song ‘Not My Fault’ for the ‘Mean Girls’ soundtrack. Not to mention, they also recently turned up together at Coachella in April.
Model Cara Delevingne, who was there too, even dubbed herself and Renee “The Lesbian Bodyodyguards” in a light-hearted post, sharing pics of them by Meg’s side like true protectors. Meg and Renee were also seen attending the Vanity Fair party in March. See the photo HERE!
But Renee’s loyalty isn’t just for the ‘Gram, though. Back in January 2024, she made headlines for calling herself a “true Megan Thee Stallion supporter,” saying:
“I hate that other man, so I love Megan Thee Stallion. If anybody tries her when it comes to that sorry a** man, it’s a do or die fight with me.” See the clip HERE.
